  • The new office is a fully functional and move-in ready Class A and technology-enhanced office environment designed to efficiently and effectively accommodate the occupancy of approximately 150 employees.
  • The scope of work includes open and closed office space, collaboration space, a cafe and kitchen area, and boardrooms.
  • Custom millwork and lighting throughout.
  • The showcase piece of the space is their interconnecting staircase, which leads outdoor and transitions into a new block.

  • Additionally, the design incorporated alternate meeting rooms and open workstations to facilitate collaboration.
  • The office space was designed to accommodate all-hands meetings of 200-250 people.
  • Specialty spaces included a library with overhanging plants, a game zone featuring a ping pong table, and a social area equipped with a kitchen and coffee bar.
  • Phone rooms, a "Family Room" with luxurious furnishings, and an outdoor patio were also included in the design.

  • Design celebrates Earth's natural resources and mining operations with rammed earth walls, sand-infused plaster, and raw basalt skins.
  • Curvilinear stairs featuring copper connect all four floors, emphasizing renewable energies.
  • Green walls and feature walls display prominent rock formations.
  • Integration of greenery and landscaping elevates the ambiance and fosters a welcoming post-pandemic office environment.

  • Inspiration drawn from Arthur Erickson Place's bold architectural features from the 1960s.
  • Retained elements include cast-in-place aggregate concrete surfaces and windows reflecting geometric ceiling structures.
  • Polished concrete flooring and darker carpet tiles provide a base for vibrant hues in furniture and paint.
  • Millwork and acoustic wall panels maintain a neutral palette with repeated geometric patterns.
  • Blend of commercial-grade and residential-inspired elements creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
